Happy Friday, lovely people! I’m so excited to share with you all my top 10 favorite stores to shop farmhouse decor. I must admit, I’m a little addicted to shopping. Wait. That’s not true. I’m a LOT addicted to shopping. Truthfully, it doesn’t even matter what I’m shopping for. I just love to shop. Well, except for groceries. I don’t know anyone who likes to shop for groceries. Seriously, if there is anyone out there, I’d love to meet you so you can share your secret on how to find enjoyment in grocery shopping.
I love shopping both online and in stores. But just like everything, they both have their pros and cons. I love the experience of being in the stores with my Starbuck’s in hand, getting to physically see and touch the items, evaluating their quality, and visioning where I would style the item in my home. However, I do not like the hassle of having to fight traffic and large crowds, load and unload my finds, and sometimes it’s just hard to find the time to get to the stores. It’s so much more convenient to have it delivered to your doorstep.
Although I love to shop, I am very thrifty when it comes to buying home decor. I don’t like to spend a ton of money; and truthfully, it’s really not necessary. There are many farmhouse decor items that you can find on a budget. It may take a little more effort to search them out or waiting it out a little longer for the item to go on sale.
The list I’m sharing is in random order. I don’t know how I would even begin to pick a top favorite.
10 Favorite Stores to Shop Farmhouse Decor:
1. Target
Target Dollar Spot. Need I say more? This is the first area of the store that I dash to, especially when shopping holiday decor. I mean, you just can’t beat those prices. And have you heard what’s coming 11.05.2017?? Y’all, I can’t even contain myself! Even though this is Chip & Jo’s last season of Fixer Upper (tear), they totally redeemed themselves by partnering with Target for the new Hearth & Hand collection. So now, instead of a few hours, I will spend entire days in this store.

Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia is a new home brand created exclusively for Target in collaboration with Magnolia––a home and lifestyle brand by Chip & Joanna Gaines. Built upon our shared commitment to giving back to our communities, these pieces reveal the beauty of everyday moments shared with family and friends.
2. TJ Maxx
Is there anything that you can’t find in TJ Maxx? You are pretty much guaranteed to find something for everyone in your family. They even have Rae Dunn pieces for your furry friends. Speaking of Rae Dunn, I run like a crazy lady to that area as soon as I walk in the store, but I’ve only been lucky enough to find a few items. My other go-to items here are throws and pillows, baskets, faux greenery, and seasonal decor.
3. Home Goods
Unfortunately, you can’t shop Home Goods online, but they do have lots of good inspiration that you can find online. If there are any Rae Dunn lovers out there, then I’m sure you frequent TJ Maxx & Home Goods on a weekly, maybe daily basis, in hopes of finding the sacred pieces. As with most clearance stores, the inventory is ever changing. So if you see something that you love, grab it quickly because chances are, it won’t be there next time. Home Goods has a great selection of rugs and furniture.
4. Etsy
The 2 biggest reasons that I absolutely LOVE shopping on Etsy: 1. you are buying original, handmade items that aren’t mass produced and 2. you are supporting small businesses. I also love that Etsy is so personal. You can directly message the shop owner and usually get a response within a couple of hours. If I am looking for something unique, the first place I go is to Etsy. It’s also my go to for personalized gifts.
5. Amazon
Amazon Prime. Yes, please! I love ordering something and getting it sent directly to me within 2 days. For FREE. Well, technically it’s not actually free because you pay the membership. But you get the point. Amazon pretty much has whatever you are looking for. It’s where I do most of my Christmas shopping. It’s also where I order most of my crafts and supplies for all of my DIY projects, such a milk paint and chalk paint.
6. World Market
I love everything at World Market, but my favorite things to shop for here are kitchen items, lighting, rugs and furniture. I just ordered 2 beautiful light fixtures for my home and I can’t wait to share them all with you soon. Always opt in for the email sign ups at your favorite stores because they send you coupons. And who doesn’t want to save money!?
7. Hobby Lobby
Who doesn’t love Hobby Lobby!? I mean, seriously! A sweet, Christian couple made a $600 loan back in 1970 to start a home business making picture frames and the Lord blessed and multiplied it beyond belief. I love that their success never changed their values in honoring the Lord in their business operations. The store has one of THE BEST selections of farmhouse decor! And their prices are unbelievable. I never pay full price for anything in that store. If what you want isn’t already on sale, you can quickly pull up the 40% off coupon online while you are in the checkout line. They have the best farmhouse wall decor! (Secretly, if I really had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Hobby Lobby).
8. Decor Steals
Decor Steals is so cool! They offer daily deals on farmhouse and vintage decor. If you sign up for their email list, you will have the daily deal sent directly to your inbox. But you have to act pretty quickly because they have limited supply of the daily deal and often sell out. I like that most of their pieces are unique items that you won’t necessarily find in your local stores. One of my favorites is the I Love You More throw.
9. Michaels
I LOVE Michaels 50% off coupon. Y’all, I hate paying full price for anything. If it’s not on sale or I don’t have a coupon, I wait. Michaels has some of the best sales EVER! For a DIYer like myself, this store can be dangerous.
10. Kirkland’s
Kirkland’s has many unique pieces that you don’t find in other stores. They have a great selection of throw pillows and wall art. It’s also a good place to find accent furniture. Their holiday decor is always on point. Check out their fall decor to see for yourself. And their prices are affordable, which is always a plus.
There you have it friends, my favorite stores to shop! But a fair warning, these stores are highly addictive. So if you are worried about busting your budget, you may also want to check out my post 10 Tips for Shopping Home Decor on a Budget.
I agree with all of these! The best places ever for fall and any decor! ❤️❤️
I love your suggestions, it would be great if more of them delivered to Canada but at least a few will ship here. I totally agree that you can find home decor at a lower price and decorate your home beautifully without spending a lot of money.
Thank you, Lisa! Yes, all stores should deliver world-wide. 😉 One of my biggest tips is buying off-season when the decor is 50-80% off. I love a good sale!!
Great recommendations!! I’m a frequent flyer to all! 😉
Thanks Erin! They can be quite addicting. ?
