Happy Friday, my beautiful friends. I hope you all have had a fabulous week! The weather has been amazing in Louisiana this week and I’m loving it! It has actually felt like fall.
Are you ready for some Friday Favorites? Today, I’m sharing 10 home decor Instagram accounts that have inspired me in some way. There are so many beautiful accounts on Instagram that there is no way I could pick favorites.
Instagram has become one of my favorite places to go for inspiration. I actually find myself going to Instagram more than Pinterest when I need some home decor inspo. I absolutely love the home decor community on IG. I’ve met so many sweet and talented ladies.
I’ve had my home decor IG account for about 4 months now. About 12 weeks ago, I signed up for an Instagram course called Decor Newbies Bootcamp. This is an interactive course that you take with a group of ladies with home decor accounts. I started this course with about 250 followers and I gained over 1000 followers while in the course. Even more amazing than that, I met and built relationships with so many amazing ladies. This course is absolutely amazing and has completely transformed my IG experience.
10 Inspiring Home Decor Instagram Accounts
1. Jamie @whitetailfarmhouse
Jamie shares her journey as the designer and builder of Whitetail Farmhouse. She is also the owner of Three Twenty + Co. Her feed is so incredible! Her home would be my dream home!
2. Melissa @thefairygodfarmer
Melissa is one of the most encouraging ladies on Instagram. She has a modern farmhouse that is absolutely gorgeous, but her inspiring words are what I look forward to the most. If you are having a rough day, head on over to her account and she is sure to lift you up. And if her words don’t, her pictures surely will. Check out this kitchen! Can someone say #kitchengoals!?
3. Erin @cottonstem
If you are looking for some original inspiration, Erin is your gal! Her decor ideas are so creative and original. She is definitely a trendsetter! Her motto is, “you do you.” I love that she encourages ladies to create their own style that they love. Just look at the way she creatively styled those windows and hung the copper pots from the ceiling. Erin is the one responsible for my current copper crush! She also shares her capsule wardrobe in her feed. The girl has style, and she’s so adorable. Watch her stories and you will fall in love with her. She has such a sweet heart!
4. Sarah @littlevintagenest
Sarah is amazingly talented. If you love all things vintage, you will definitely want to head over to her blog, Little Vintage Nest. Everything she styles is to perfection! And her photography skills are always on point! She is another who’s stories I love to watch on IG. She is always sharing such great inspiration!
5. Liz @lizmariegalvan
If you love all things farmhouse, you are going to fall head over heals in love with Liz’s IG account. She lives in an 1800 fixer upper farmhouse with so much charm! Liz also owns the cute little vintage store The Found Cottage. She uses mostly found and repurposed items in her decor. This is my kind of style!
6. Terri @simplyfrenchmarket
I love Terri’s rustic vintage style. She mixes white, woods, and vintage to perfection! I love to scroll through her feed for inspiration. Just look at that light fixture!
7. Liz @lizlovegrowswild
Liz is an Interior Decorator and author of A Touch of Farmhouse Charm. She is another that pairs wood and whites beautifully! You just can’t go wrong when you put those two together.
8. Cynthia @harperandarrowmarketplace
Cynthia has an Etsy store with a collection of vintage goods for the modern home. Her style is absolutely gorgeous! She also shares a lot of inspiration from other great IG accounts on her feed.
9. Kayla @plumprettydecoranddesign
Kayla is also an Interior Designer and has an antique and vintage traveling store. She is so talented and definitely one to follow if you are looking for some inspiration!
10. Kelly @homewithkelly
Kelly is one of the sweetest and most helpful people on Instagram. She developed and implemented the Decor Newbie Bootcamp, which was absolutely brilliant. As a newbie, I really had no clue what I was doing. I saw the hashtag games, but didn’t really know how to play them; and I definitely didn’t know how to get involved in hosting them. Kelly helps you get connected and gain exposure. She teaches you about giveaways, follow trains, exposure groups, hashtags, how to gain exposure, photo editing, and so much more! If you have a new home decor IG account, I would highly recommend you to take this course. I promise that you won’t regret it!
Aren’t those some inspiring accounts!? You will definitely want to make sure you are following all of these ladies if you are looking for some inspiration.
You guys, I never imagined I could meet so many people that I have never actually “met” and instantly feel a connection. This community is so supportive and encouraging. It truly feels like a little family. We have celebrated each other’s successes, laughed with each other, and even grieved and cried for each other’s hurts and losses. During natural disasters, such as the recent flooding, this community came together to raise money for charities and help many in need.
Just this week, one of my sweet IG friends and blog buddies, Cheyenne, unexpectedly lost her husband. When I said our IG community is like a family, I truly meant it. My heart has been completely broken for this sweet friend. I have cried, I have prayed, and I have collaborated with others in our IG and blogging community to offer some support. If you would like to learn more, or possibly help support this lovely family, click [HERE].
Love hard and make the most of each day, friends! None of us are promised tomorrow. Please join me in praying God’s comfort and strength over this sweet family. Be blessed, my beautiful friends! xoxo
All of my favorite accounts too! Wonderful roundup girl!
Praying for sweet Cheyenne and her family.
