When is it socially acceptable to start decorating for Christmas? That is the burning question on Instagram lately. It seems like 75% of my scroll is filled with Christmas decor already and we are barely into November. How do you all feel about that? I sorta have mixed emotions about it.
Christmas is by far my favorite holiday and decorating for Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. Looking at all of my Christmas decorations always puts me in a cheerful mood. But at the same time, I don’t want to skip right over Thanksgiving and the meaning it holds. So what’s a girl to do?
Decorating for Christmas: When to Start
Welllll, I’ve decided that a good alternative (for me) is to start slowly adding Christmas touches throughout my home over the next few weeks. Then after Thanksgiving, it’s full on Christmas!
One simple and budget friendly way that I like to add in a touch of Christmas is by changing out my kitchen and bath soaps. And fortunately, this is the time of year when Mrs. Meyer’s holiday scents return. Woohoo!!

This year, Mrs. Meyer’s is bringing back three crowd favorites: Iowa Pine, Peppermint, and Orange Clove. And if I had to pick a favorite, I couldn’t even do it because they all three smell A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!
Right now, you can get a free Mrs. Meyer’s trio in your choice of scents, plus a free set of Grove Collaborative walnut scrubber sponges — all packed up in a limited edition red cleaning caddy for gifting (or keeping!).
New customers will get the holiday set when you place your first order of $20:
Free Mrs. Meyer’s holiday hand soap
Free Mrs. Meyer’s holiday dish soap
Free Mrs. Meyer’s holiday multi-surface spray
Grove Collaborative red caddy
Grove Collaborative walnut scrubber sponges
Plus, if you spend $39, you’ll also receive a free Grove stoneware tray to beautifully display your new holiday soaps.
If you’re already a Grove customer, you’ll get a free set of Grove walnut scrubbers — perfect for cleaning up after baking cookies or pumpkin pie.
This beautiful red caddy is everything you need to organize your home for the holidays! While you could go the traditional route and use it to store your cleaning supplies, it would also make a great gift wrapping station stocked with tape, ribbons, markers, and tags. Or, wrap your silverware in napkins, secure with a napkin ring, and place them in the caddy for your holiday buffet.
Another holiday must-have is Mrs. Meyer’s multi-surface cleaner. It’s ideal for those last-minute cleanups before guests arrive. You only need one product for countertops, walls, bathroom fixtures, and wood or tile floors. Plus, it leaves your entire home smelling like the holidays.
When you submit your first order, you’ll also be signed up for the free 60 day VIP trial. For 60 days, you’ll save even more with free shipping, free gifts, price matching, exclusive sales and customer service. That means more money left over to spend on gifts for your family (or a little treat for yourself!).
These holiday sets fly off the shelves faster than toys on Black Friday, so don’t wait! Here’s how to grab your free set:
Sign up for Grove Collaborative HERE. You will receive the Holiday Set for free when you sign up! To receive this offer, your order needs to be a minimum of $20. Choose the combination of products and scents you love and receive your first box within a few days. You can thank me later! 😉
So tell me, have you started decorating for Christmas yet? If yes, I’d love to hear how you are decorating this year. And if not, check out my Amazon storefront for some of my favorite budget-friendly Christmas decor that I’m planning to use this year.
Have a blessed day, friends! xoxo
I have never used Grove or Meyers before but my daughter raves about it. I’ve always been a Bath and Body Works fan but for $20 bucks and free stuff (and hopefully you get a commission), I’m in! I just today started putting away the fall stuff. I told my family – that’s the blogger life. But I’m not complaining! I’ve always put fall decor out in the middle of September and left it up until the day after Thanksgiving. Always felt a bit gypped because I love Christmas decor and only had it up for a month. Soooo, I’m a super happy girl even when the kids say it’s too soon. LOL
Oh Cindy, you are going to fall in love with Mrs Meyers soaps! I love all of the seasonal scents, but my everyday favorite is Radish. That’s a great point you make about putting up the Christmas decor earlier so that you can enjoy it longer. I think I’m going to follow your lead on that. 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
I bought my first Meyers soap for Fall and of course I had to have pumpkin!😊 Then I purchased the dish soap, so I guess I’m hooked. I love decorating for Christmas and I am almost done. Now I get to enjoy having get together with family and friends! Happy Thanksgiving!
