Hi there, friends! I’m soooo excited to join some of my very favorite bloggers today for a fall decor tour! I must admit, I’ve had my fall decor up for quite some time now. I’m not going to say how long, but I will say it may or may not have been longer than a month. I figured it was finally socially acceptable to share it, even though it technically isn’t fall yet. I’ve probably moved things around a billion times already just because I like to change things up often #decoraddictproblems.
If this is your first visit here, welcome! I’m so excited to have you!!! If you hopped over from Rachel at Joyful Derivatives, wasn’t her living room just gorgeous!!! So much inspiration! Before I get any further, I’d like to give a special thanks to Lindsay at Aratari at Home for hosting this amazing fall decor tour. Get ready for some major inspo as you hop along!

Fall Decor Tour
The Foyer
C’mon in and welcome to my home! I have poured lots of love and labor into this home over the past two years that we’ve lived here! Our foyer was the very first room that we renovated, and it’s been one of my favorites!
Our home is actually on the market right now. Less than two weeks ago, we had absolutely no intention of selling. But, God had other plans. I’ll share the story of how it all unfolded as we move along on the fall decor tour.
I don’t always have a blanket draped across my foyer floor, but I thought it made for a pretty picture. I’m loving this pom-pom blanket that I found on Amazon. I use it often when styling pictures because it adds a nice layer of cozy texture.
These adorable pillows are from Faith & Chloe on Etsy. She has so many cute pillows to choose from, but the Hello Pumpkin Spice and ticking stripe pumpkin won my heart over! Faith was so kind to offer 10% off any of her pillows through the end of September, with the code beautyforasheshome.
I DIYed the Pumpkins 25¢ sign and shared the template and tutorial on the blog a few weeks ago.
Living Room
Moving along on the fall decor tour, let’s walk on in to the living room. One of my favorite pieces in my living room is a vintage chalkboard that I found at a local antique shop. I haven’t had it that long, but I love changing it up for the different seasons.
For the mantle, I started by placing some eucalyptus swags in the center. Then stacked the pumpkins on top. I added some garland and eucalyptus stems to each side, then placed some brass candlesticks. My tobacco always remains as my centerpiece above my mantel. I love it too much to ever change it out (at least for now).
I thought I’d go a little non-traditional with the pumpkins this year. Yes, they are pink. Being the only girl in the house with 4 boys, I look for any excuse I can to add a little pink.
Before we get much further, let me tell you a little about how we decided to put our house on the market. The weekend before last, my oldest son invited a friend to spend the night. I had never met the kid before, so I told my son we would go pick him up so I could meet his parents.
We plugged his address into the GPS and started driving. Right before arriving at his house, we passed a driveway with a For Sale sign. I was intrigued by the long gravel driveway and wanted to see what was back there. I asked my husband to drive down the driveway. He was hesitant at first, but usually gives in to me. 😉
We drove down the driveway and oohed and ahhed the entire time. We passed fenced pastures, a barn, a chicken coup, the most adorable home, and a gigantic shop that any man would dream to have. I didn’t even have to get out of the car to know that this place was everything I’ve ever dreamed of having. My husband called the realtor as we drove out the driveway to continue heading to my son’s friend’s house. The realtor told him that no one lived there and that we were welcome to get out and walk around the property.
After picking up the friend, we went back to the house and walked around the beautiful 7.3 acres. We peaked through the windows of the home and my heart raced to see more.
That was on a Saturday evening, and by Sunday afternoon we were viewing the inside of the home with our realtor. Our entire family loved everything about the house and the property. But… There is always a but, right? The house was priced above our budget and even if we could negotiate to a price within out budget, we would have to sell our house first. So my husband and I prayed about it and decided that if it was in God’s plans for us to have this house, He would just have to work miracles for it to be possible.
We called our realtor Sunday night and told her we’d like to make an offer with a contingency to sell. She informed us that the sellers have had multiple contingency offers and have refused everyone so far because they are ready to sell and don’t want to have to wait for someone else to sell their house. We decided to make the offer anyway because we were trusting by faith that God was going to work a miracle. We feel in our hearts that this is the right place for our family, but if for some reason it doesn’t work out, we trust that God will have us wait for something better that He has for us in the future.
The sellers accepted our contingency and countered with a very reasonable offer that we were able to work with! God still works miracles y’all!!! We aren’t in the clear yet because they gave us a timeline of 45 days to sell our home. But we got it on the market quickly and our realtor is completely amazing! We’ve already had lots of showings and several people interested in just the last few days.
One of my sweet friends that I met on Instagram, Sara of Simply Southern Cottage, shared a story of how she prayed circles around the house that she felt God had for her. She prayed circles for nearly two years before she was finally able to purchase the home! I had my husband read her story a while back because it was such a sweet reminder of God’s faithfulness. Well, my husband has returned to this house that we feel God has for our family every day to pray circles around it.
So that, my friends, is why our home is on the market. I’m not sure what the final outcome will be, but I’ll keep you updated as the story unfolds. I just love watching God work behind the scenes to pull all things together for His glory!!
I DIYed the Let’s Stay Home Scroll last year, with a little help from my sister’s handlettering skills.
This leaves candle by Sweet Water Decor is heavenly! It’s like all the smells of fall bundled up into one amazing scent! They were so sweet to give my friends 25% off anything on their website with the code beautyforasheshome.
The next area in my living room is on the wall opposite of my fireplace. I have a chippy white banister rail on the wall with hoop wreaths that I change out for each season.
As many of you know already, I’m slightly obsessed with vintage decor. I try to incorporate vintage into every area that I style. It adds so much character.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the fall decor tour and that maybe it’s given you a little inspiration. Be sure to head over to see Carla at Enchanted Hill Life. She has such a beautiful home that you will not want to miss!
I also hope that you were inspired by the story of God’s goodness. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted. Thank you so much for visiting with me today and be blessed my friends! xoxo

I am a little late on reading your post, but that is such wonderful news!!! I can’t go pray circles for you but I’m sure going to pray for you and your family to get this house!! God is great!
Thanks girl! We are in a waiting period right now, but fully trusting on God on this. The inspection report came back with many problems that we weren’t expecting. We’ve asked the sellers to make repairs and are waiting to hear back…
What beautiful Fall displays and vignettes!! Gorgeous!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Thank you so much, Debbie! Fall is my absolute favorite season!!!
are your eucalyptus swigs and garland on mantle real or artificial? Where do you purchase?
Hi Tricia! They are all artificial. I got them at Hobby Lobby.
I love your mantle!! May I ask where you got your pumpkins? Are they real or faux? And did you paint them?
Thank you so much, Sam! I bought most of them at Walmart and the Dollar Tree. They are all faux and I painted them with chalk paint. 😉
