I know, I know. We are barely half way through October and I’m already sharing Farmhouse Christmas DIYs. But you guys know how fast these months fly by. There are only 10 weeks until Christmas! That’s only 62 days, my friends!!!
We all know that most stores already have their Christmas decor and supplies on the shelves. I was in the Dollar Tree just last week and they have some of the cutest Farmhouse-y Christmas Decor this year! As I was in there, I started thinking about all of the crafts I could make with the cute things they had. Today, I’m going to share 3 fun and easy DIYs to create farmhouse Christmas decor with Dollar Tree supplies. These projects are easy on the budget also! If you are a crafter, you probably already have a lot of the needed supplies already on hand.

Project #1: Framed Antlers
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 5×7 Picture Frame
- Burlap
- Deer Antler Ornament
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
- Paint (optional)
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- I wanted to paint my frame, but this step is completely up to your desired look. You can choose any color you’d like or leave the frame it’s original color. My frame was originally black and I chose to paint it white and distress it a little.
- Remove the backing and glass from the frame. Measure and cut your burlap to slightly overlap the glass, wrapping it around the edges to keep it in place. Replace the glass back in the frame with the burlap on top.
- Cut the string from your deer antler ornament and hot glue the ornament to the center of the frame.
This is an adorable $2 project! I purchased the picture frame and deer antler ornament from the Dollar Tree and had all other supplies at home already. I thought about writing Merry Christmas on the burlap, but decided I adored the simple look with just the deer antler.
Project #2: Christmas Swag
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 2 Pine Branch Stems
- Burlap Ribbon
- Floral Tape
- Floral Wire
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Take the 2 stems and turn the ends opposite of each other.
- Tape the ends together with floral tape.
- Tie a bow (click here for a tutorial on how to tie a bow) with burlap ribbon.
- Use a piece of wire to attach the ribbon to the swag.
Was that not the easiest DIY you have ever done!? Hang this over a doorway or place it on your mantel to add the perfect Christmas touch to your farmhouse decor. This was another $2 project my friends ($1 each for the pine stems at the Dollar Tree). I already had all the other materials.
Project #3: Mason Jar Centerpiece
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 3 – 1 Quart Mason Jars
- 6 Artificial Pine Floral Stems
- Paint
- Jute Twine
- Box or Tray
- Peace Ornament (optional)
- Hot Glue Gun
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Paint mason jars with your choice of paint and let them dry completely. I used 2 coats of chalk paint on each. Distress the paint a little, if you’d like.
- Tie jute twine around the top of the mason jars.
- Place 2 stems in each of the mason jars.
- Place the mason jars in a box or on a tray to bring the centerpiece together (my 10 year old son made this box – I love that he loves to help mama).
- Hot glue Peace ornament on the front of the box (if you use a box).
For this project, I purchased the stems and peace ornament at the Dollar Tree. I had all of the other supplies on hand. I love the way this turned out! This would be a beautiful centerpiece for your Christmas table. It also looks beautiful on a mantel. This one was a little more costly, for a total of $7 (if you have all of the other supplies).
If you’ve been reading my blog for a little while, you know that budget friendly decor is a priority for me. I was able to create 3 beautiful items to add to my farmhouse Christmas decor and I only spent $12, including tax!
