Anyone else have trouble shopping for the men in your life? I surely do. This year I decided to get ahead of the game a put a little thought into some gifts. Whether you are shopping for your husband, dad, son, brother, grandfather, or great uncle Joe, I am sharing a fabulous holiday gift guide for the men in your life, all for under $40!
Most of the time I resort to getting a gift card to Home Depot or Lowe’s because I have no idea what to buy. I hate doing this because I feel like there is no thought going into a gift card. I like to give meaningful gifts that I’ve given some thought to. Although, truth be known, my hubby would probably prefer a gift card to buy more tools that he doesn’t need for “projects” that he’ll never actually make. But, if that’s what makes my honey happy, I’ll gladly hand over the gift card (along with a few thoughtful gifts). And he truly does help me with a lot of projects, so I guess he does “need” the tools.
I did ask my hubby to review this list and he gave a thumbs up, so these are all man-approved gifts. In fact, my husband already owns a few of these items.

Holiday Gift Guide for Him
1. Leather Wallet and Money Clip
I am in love with all of the new Hearth & Hand items at Target. Chip & Jo really nailed it with some great gifting ideas in this collection. And the price points are awesome! My husband hates carrying around a bulky wallet (unless it’s bulky because it’s filled with cash, but that usually isn’t the case). This slim leather wallet is perfect to slip in a front or back pocket.
2. Morning, Handsome Coffee Mug
How sweet would it be to hand your hubby a cup o’ joe in this mug as you wish him a ‘morning, handsome!’ That would totally make my man’s day. We love drinking coffee out of stoneware mugs and this one is the perfect size.
3. Leather Saddle Gloves
These leather saddle gloves are perfect for those cold mornings. I love the rustic look of them and the fact that the leather looks so worn and soft.
4. Burt’s Bees Men’s Gift Set
This gift set includes 5 natural skin care products for men and comes packaged in a manly gifting tin. This kit, that includes shave cream, aftershave, body wash, hand salve, and lip balm, will keep your man looking good and smelling fresh.
5. Capital Gaines: Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff by Chip Gaines
I gifted my husband with this book about a week ago as a ‘just because i love you’ gift. Y’all, he has not been able to put it down. He isn’t a big reader, but he says this book is so inspirational and relevant to life. I guess ole’ Chip has some wisdom to share. I mean, he is a little bit successful in life, right!?
6. Teakwood S’well Water Bottle
I’m sure a lot of men don’t get too excited about carrying around a water bottle. But I thought the teakwood on this one was so manly and attractive.
7. Canvas and Leather Toiletry Bag
If you have a man in your life that travels frequently, this Hearth & Hand toiletry bag is the perfect gift. It’s just the right size for all the essentials.
8. Personalized Pocket Knife
My man always carries a pocket knife with him. I guess it makes him feel more manly. I’m not sure. But it certainly has come in handy on many occasions. Like when I buy a new hand bag and I need all the tags taken off so I can transfer my items and begin using it immediately. Yeah. Your man should always carry a pocket knife in case you need it.
9. Sheepskin Slippers
There is nothing that says comfort and cozy more than a pair of sheepskin slippers. I love that these have the rubber soles so that your man can go out to get the paper or take out the trash without having to put on shoes.
10. Beard Grooming Kit
Any other women hate “No Shave November” as much as I do? I mean, seriously! What if we went a month without shaving our pits. Ok, so maybe that happens sometimes with my legs, but I can keep those covered in the winter. Anyway, if the man in your life has a manly beard, the least he can do is keep it groomed. Am I right?
11. Symphonized Earbuds
These earbuds are probably my top pick from this gift guide. I bought these for my husband for Christmas last year and he says they are one of the best gifts he’s ever received. The music quality from these little buds is phenomenal and they have a lifetime warranty. And they look pretty cool too.
Happy shopping, friends! I hope I’ve given you a few ideas in this gift guide for the men in your life. My favorite part is that you can get all of these from the comfort of your home. My black Friday shopping will consist of sitting on the couch in my PJs, a snuggly blanket, fire burning, my coffee in hand and MacBook in lap.
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing a Holiday Gift Guide for Her, so stay tuned for more great gift ideas. Also, if you missed it, be sure to check out my favorite Farmhouse Christmas Decor on Amazon. Be blessed, my friends!
Great list Heather, I usually end up with a few gift cards for my man and clothes, he never ever shops for himself so if I don’t, he would walk around in threadbare shirts. Thanks for the link to the book, I just ordered it for my husband for Christmas!
Thanks for the great suggestions!! I just ordered the earbuds for my 2 teenage boys. One each in different colors to avoid the arguments… lol.
lol. I completely understand that mom logic! Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving!!!
