Anyone else struggling to believe June is almost gone? Time is flying by so fast. I remember when I was younger, summer would seem like forever. And now it seems like my kid’s summer break is gone in an instant. I think we just had longer summer breaks than what kids have today. Anyone else with me on that? Anyway, today I’m going to give you all some ideas on how to style wood bead garland. If you missed my post on making wood bead garland, you can find it here. It’s super easy to make and adds lots of charm to your home.
There are so many ways to accessorize your home with wood bead garland. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, I would say wrapping it around a demijohn (glass jug). Adding the wood beads to the glass gives it a softer element to create that warmth in your home. It’s the perfect balance. And when you add some greenery, it gives a bit of color to create a beautiful look!
How to Style Wood Bead Garland
Another favorite way to style wood bead garland is draped in a tray on a coffee table. This creates such a warm, inviting look. There is no certain way to drape them, just kind of let them fall naturally. Using lighter beads on darker wood will help to soften the look.
The beads also look beautiful draped on a tiered tray. Tiered trays are one of my favorite decor items. There are tons of ways to style and utilize them. I’ll be sharing some of those ideas in a future post.
The wood bead garland also looks really cute styled on your vintage scales, especially if you have a few other vintage items you can pair it with. And adding some greenery always softens the look.
If you have a longer strand of garland, you can hang it as an accent on a wall or across your mantle. There are many pictures on Instagram to give you some inspiration. Just search the tag #woodbeadgarland.
So, as you can see, no matter where you add them, they add so much charm and an element of warmth to your home. Accessorizing with these wooden beads is so simple and the ways to style them is only limited to your imagination. So let’s hear it. Heather, your page is remarkable. I am so proud. All of your ideas are great. I just ordered my beads to make one. Can’t wait. I’m dying to know where you buy your demijohn’s.
Good luck to you on your new adventure. Tell my handsome cousin hi for me.

Thank you so much, Jill. Everyone’s encouragement has been amazing and I feel so blessed! I can’t wait to see pics of your beads. I know they will be beautiful. I was lucky enough to find an original demijohn at Trade Days in Winnie, TX. The others are reproductions that I’ve picked up at Hobby Lobby or World Market. I will definitely tell J hi for you!
