Is it really Monday already!? How does that happen so fast? Maybe it’s because the last few weekends have been crazy busy with lots of DIY projects in the works. I seriously wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I wasn’t working on a gazillion projects at a time. I figured I’d show you all what I’ve been up to and do a weekend DIY recap of all of my current projects.
Some of you know that I have a couple of booths in antique malls. I’ve decided to venture out a little more and sign up for a few pop-up shows. The first one is Market at the Mill in New Roads, La on November 17-19. I just decided to do this so you can only imagine the craziness at my house right now. Not only am I trying to prepare merchandise, but I’m also trying to figure out all that goes into setting up a pop-up show.
I have no clue what the heck I’m doing. Why do I do this to myself!? I guess I love a good challenge. So if any of my readers have any words of wisdom on setting up for a show, PLEASE share. I need all the help that I can get! I have another exciting show coming up that I plan to share with you all soon. If any of you are anywhere near Louisiana, you will not want to miss this one!
Ok, enough rambling. Let me get down to business and show you those DIY’s.
Weekend DIY Recap
Christmas Trees For Sale Sign
Joy Sign
Thankful Sign
Gather Sign
Wood Bead Garland
Yep, it was a busy weekend! I wanted to show you all what I’ve been up to, but I’ll be sharing step-by-step instructions on each of these projects soon. So stay tuned! Let me know your favorites and I’ll be sure to share those first.
If you are wanting to know how to make the Wood Bead Garland, I have a step by step here. The only difference with these is that I used faux leather instead of jute rope and tied a knot between each bead; and for the tassel, I cut a bandana into strips.
I’ve also been thinking about listing some of these in my online store. I’m still thinking through that, but you all will be the first to know if I decide to go for it.
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Many blessings. xoxo
I love the gather sign! They are all beautiful though! 🙂
I love how simple these are, especially the Thankful sign, which is my favorite of the things you have here. You also really styled that entryway bench very nicely. Gives a warm, festive feeling.
What a great weekend making all these beautiful items and signs, I love you you style them too. I was looking all day yesterday for a vertical sign like the JOY one you have, I have the perfect spot for it in my home. Do you ship to Canada? Have a great time at the shows and knock their socks off with your gorgeous creations!
